Privacy
This page covers bruhfoons.com and the tools we use to post Bruhfoons videos to our own social accounts. We keep as little as we can and we never sell any of it.
Visits
We count visits with Umami, which runs on our own server. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. It records the page, the referring site, and your browser, device type and country, so we can see which episodes people watch.
Likes, views and votes
When you play an episode, the site sets one cookie, bf_vid, a random ID that only our own API reads. It keeps a like or a vote to one per visitor and lets the site remember what you already liked. It lasts two years and you can clear it any time in your browser.
We never store your IP address. For spam limits we keep a one-way scrambled version of it (a salted hash) that cannot be turned back into the address.
The site also saves a few small settings in your browser, like which background you saw last. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Comments
If comments are on and you post one, the name and text you type are shown publicly on that episode. We can hide or delete any comment.
Emails you give us
If you sign up to hear when the next episode drops, we keep your email address to tell you that. If you send a custom request, we keep your email, the name you give and your request so we can answer it, and we get a copy by email through our mail provider, Brevo. We don't add you to anything else and we don't share your address.
Tips and payments
Tips and payments happen on Cash App or PayPal, not on this site. We never see your card or bank details. Those companies' own privacy policies apply to anything you do there.
Our social accounts
We post our own videos to our own Bruhfoons accounts on YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr and other platforms, and we read the view and like counts on those posts. Our tools don't collect information about the people who watch them.
For YouTube we use the YouTube API Services. That access covers only our own channel: uploading our videos and reading our channel's statistics. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can see or remove the access our app has to a Google account at Google's security settings.
Who else sees it
Nobody, except the services that run the site for us: our server host and Brevo for email. We don't run ads, we don't use third-party trackers, and we don't sell or rent any information.
How long we keep it
Visit counts and like counts are kept as long as the site runs. Email addresses and custom requests are kept until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them.
Getting it deleted
Email support@bruhfoons.com and tell us what to delete (your email address, a request, a comment). We'll delete it and let you know.
Kids
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
